With wedding season winding down we couldn't think of anything better than starting to share some of the amazing weddings which have happened in Rutland (and the surrounding areas) this year! Providing all you 2020 (and super organised 2021) couples with lots of inspiration for your own big day!
Starting us off, we have a feeling that you're really going to love this wedding from the summer. Hannah and Zander tied the knot at the iconic Normanton church at Rutland Water in July, before heading over to Braunston village hall. Normanton church is definitely a showstopper for wedding photos! It’s just so picturesque, don't you all agree?
With a love of romantic novels set in the war Hannah wanted their special day to reflect the beautiful simplicity of all those weddings she had read about. Simply celebrating the love the two have for each other keeping it classic yet beautiful.
Hannah looked so beautiful in her dress from Jane Bourvis. The stunning lace overlay was over 100 years old with a silk slip underneath, removing the lace in the evening provided Hannah with a completely different look. Matching back to the theme the florals were kept a minimal palette of greens and whites for a simplistic look, with a lovely hand tied bouquet and flower crown.
Adding a personal touch they created lots of the details for the day themselves, including making their own invitations. The Cake was lovingly made at home by the Mother of the Bride’s friend and decorated in rose petals by Hannah herself. Doesn't it look great.
Afternoon tea made such a great impact for the wedding breakfast, who doesn’t love afternoon tea! (Even better when you can switch the tea for a bottle of Corona!)
We are so delighted to be able to share these beautiful photos with you all by Shoot it Momma, she’s truly captured the biggest of smiles from such a special day. How happy do Hannah and Zander look!
