Ginny + Thomas // Festive Winter Wedding

Photographer: Alexandra Wallace Photography

There’s something magical about a festive wedding and this one certainly doesn’t disappoint!

Ginny and Thomas celebrated their marriage just days before Christmas with a service at All Saints Church in Stamford. Followed by a reception on the Brazenose lawn in Stamford with marquees supplied by Stamford Marquees (It's always a bonus when it’s your Dad’s business!) There’s no doubt in saying that marquees can now have as much as a wow factor as any other reception venues, especially when they are styled as gorgeous as this!

Ginny opted for a bespoke dress by Katie Bridal Design, initially falling in love with one of Katie’s skirts they took elements of other dresses Ginny liked had to create her dream dress. A gorgeous bardot style with lace details and a graduated hemline skirt, showing off her sparkly heels by Badgley Mischka.

The bridesmaids wore grey dresses from Asos and her sisters the maids of honour‘s wore dresses from David‘s bridal in London. We love how the two styles complement each other so well.

Thomas and all his groomsmen made a statement with their black tie attire perfect for a festive wedding, don‘t they all look smart enjoying pre drinks at The George before the I Do’s!

Thomas was suited from head to toe by Moss Bros in a dark velvet green, shirt, trousers, bow tie and shoes.

Keeping to a palette of golds, greens and greys. The couple incorporated festive details into their big day, from Christmas trees, wreaths to festive illustrations.

The couple chose to keep their bouquets and buttonholes in a classic and timeless palette of greens and whites which complemented everything perfectly.

Involving as many local suppliers as they could Ginny and Thomas pulled together a their dream team! You know we love using local suppliers too! They also had the voice band ‘Brown Sugar’ performing at their reception who toured with Olly Murrs.

With their initials G&T the theme was set, Who doesn’t love a G&T! There stationery designer Orange Pippin created the couple a signature G&T menu all named after the key elements in their lives, what a lovely touch!

Creating an ambience was key to Ginny and Thomas and the photos of the marquee definitely shows that they did just that! They had lights everywhere making it look truly magical. A statement arrangement was suspended down the centre of the marquee a mix of greenery, candles and fairylights. Creating such an impact when their guests entered.

It may have rained on their big day, but the smiles from these photos just show what an amazing day it was none the less! How can we not forget to mention that sparkler exit too! WOW!
